Our vibrant, culturally diverse, inclusive and friendly academy is located in Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast, serving our local church, the parish of Our Lady & St Peter’s, and the wider community. As a caring Catholic school, we strive to live out the mission of Jesus in everything we do, every day. Our educational vision which places children at the centre and Jesus at the heart, recognises that Christ is the foundation of the whole educational enterprise. Through worship, liturgy, and all aspects of learning and teaching, we celebrate the unique gifts and talents that every member of our school brings to the community.

We encourage children to take ownership of their learning, to develop a love of learning, and to cultivate an enquiring mind. Our broad and creative curriculum is delivered through a wide range of teaching styles, extended learning opportunities, and outdoor experiences, ensuring that every child’s needs are met and that each pupil can flourish to their full potential.

Our Lady & St Peter’s is a Roman Catholic voluntary aided primary school for boys and girls aged 2–11. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted at our last inspection, we are proud of our pioneering, creative and challenging approach to education, alongside the highest standards of pastoral care and rich extra-curricular opportunities.
